Long March World Cancer Day – I AM AND I WILL

Cancer patients in Bali generally come in an advanced stage. This happens because the patient does not immediately undergo the diagnostic and treatment process due to various factors. World Cancer Day was created by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the World Cancer Declaration , which was made in 2008. The main goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce cancer morbidity and mortality by 2020. World Cancer Day is celebrated every February 4th to raise awareness of cancer and promote cancer prevention, detection and treatment

In commemoration of World Cancer Day, on February 17, 2019, the Oncology division of FK UNUD RSUP Sanglah which was spearheaded by Prof. Dr. dr. As the organizing committee for the implementation of this World Cancer Day event, the resident of the Udayana Surgery Study Program also enlivened and cheered up the atmosphere. We chatted, sang, danced and joked with cancer survivors. Don't forget to take part in capturing this happy moment with our beloved consular. Now the happy event has been carried out successfully, but hopefully the fight against cancer will continue in accordance with the motto of Cancer Day this year – I AM AND I WILL. (TIO/UBI)
