Orthodontics

Orthodontics Department is one of the departments in the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which was established in 2013 and is one of the youngest departments in FK Unud. The Department of Orthodontics FK Unud actively conducts education for the Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentist Professional Study Programs, which are equivalent to other study programs under the auspices of FK Unud. The Department of Orthodontics has 15 divisions, each of which has a role in carrying out learning activities, both for preclinical and clinical students. The twelve divisions are Dental Conservation Science, Prosthodontia, Periodontia, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Radiology Dentistry, Orthodontia, Public Dental Health Science, Forensic Dentistry, Oral Biology, Dental Materials Science, Local Content, Oral Pathology, and Collaboration. The Department is always active in carrying out various activities that support the development of knowledge and skills of the entire academic community of the Undergraduate Dentistry Study Program and Dentist Profession FK Unud. These activities include seminars, social services, workshops, and others. The Department Orthodontics also collaborates with various other Faculties of Dentistry from all over Indonesia to improve the quality of resources in order to produce qualified dentist graduates.
