Academic Supervisor Training Workshop

The Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UPPPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a Training Workshop for Academic Supervisors, held in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar. The workshop was attended by civil servant (CPNS) lecturers within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. (September 15, 2025)

The workshop began with remarks by the Coordinator of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UPPPM), Dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, S.Ked., Ph.D., and continued with remarks by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., who officially opened the event. On this occasion, the UPPPM Coordinator expressed his hope that this workshop would equip lecturers with new insights and strategies for providing effective guidance to students so they can achieve optimal academic, psychological, and social development and complete their studies on time. This is because academic and non-academic issues are not confined to the classroom, and that workshop participants should be able to follow this training to completion.

Meanwhile, Prof. Sudarmaja stated that lecturers are obligated to practice their skills and knowledge to increase their capacity. They are also required to have a study permit and an academic guidance permit to fulfill the requirements for filling the Lecturer Workload (BKD). It is hoped that after completing this training, they will be involved as academic supervisors in their respective study programs, thereby increasing their Lecturer Workload (BKD) points.

The workshop was moderated by Dr. Ns. I Kadek Saputra, S.Kep, M.Erg. It featured four speakers:
1. Dr. Ni Made Swasti Wulanyani, S.Psi., M.Erg., Psi., with the topic "Introduction to Counseling and Student Cases."
2. I Gusti Ayu Diah Fridari, S.Psi., M.Psi., Ph.D., with the topic "Special Case Counseling and PFA."
3. Ni Luh Indah Desira Swandi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psi., with the topic "Pretest and Mentimeter."

Following the presentations by the three speakers, the event continued with a discussion session.
