Blood Donation and Convalescent Plasma Donor II 59th BKFK Anniversary

The synergy of Academics, TNI, Bureaucracy and Profession was realized in a series of celebrations for the 59th BKFK Anniversary.
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University together with Kodam IX/Udayana, the Bali Provincial Health Service and the Indonesian Doctors Association of Bali Region held a Convalescent Blood Donor and Plasma Donor at the Cakra Vidya Usadha Building, Sudirman Campus Denpasar.
This activity was attended directly by Pangdam IX / Udayana Major General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, M.Sc and his ranks, Danrem 163 / Wirasatya Brigadier General Husein Sagaf, Kadinkes Prov.Bali dr. Ketut Suarjaya, MPPM., Head of IDI Bali Region dr. Gede Putra Suteja, Kalaksa BPBD Prov. Bali I Made Rentin, Unud Chancellor Prof.Dr.dr. AA Raka Sudewi, SpS(K)., Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation & Information at Unud who is also the Head of the Unud Covid-19 Task Force Prof. Dr. IB Wyasa Putra, SH., M. Hum, Chair of the Senate of Unud Prof.Dr.Ir. Dewa Ngurah Suprapta, M.Sc., Chair of the Senate of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. Made Wiryana, Sp.An.KIC.,KAO., Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) along with the Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, and Study Program Coordinators at FK Unud.
The enthusiasm of the community and members of the TNI in participating in this event was reflected in the number of donor participants who registered reaching 102 donors, of which 10 people donated Convalescent Plasma to support the Covid-19 response in the Bali Region.
In his speech, the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K) said "The synergy of academia, the TNI, the bureaucracy, and the profession is our common strength, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. We from the campus will continue to synergize with anyone, because collaboration is the key. in solving the nation's problems that we face, not only health problems, but also other social problems.
This collaboration is important because this is what can give us strength in dealing with Covid-19. Hopefully our collaboration will be stronger in the future so that it can be useful for the homeland and nation," he said in his speech.
The Chancellor of Unud, Prof.Dr.dr. AA Raka Sudewi, SpS(K). in his speech said "This is a form of real cooperation between Unud and the TNI in participation so that Covid-19 in Bali can be overcome so that we can quickly rise. Thank you to the Commander-in-Chief for your attention and cooperation, I hope this collaboration can continue and be improved.” he said in his speech.
Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, M.Sc in his speech said "How to suppress covid is to make everyone understand and that is the main task in how we educate the public."
"Happy Birthday to the Faculty of Medicine, hopefully it can continue to improve its quality to be better, excel at national and international levels." he closed which also marked the opening of the Blood Donor and Convalescent Plasma Donor events.
On this occasion the Chancellor of Unud Prof.Dr.dr. AA Raka Sudewi, SpS(K). and the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB.,SpOT(K) also handed over 1 book title and 2 leaflets to Pangdam IX / Udayana, namely the 2nd edition of the Covid-19 Handling Book Based on Villages and Traditional Villages in Bali. Convalescent Plasma Therapy Leaflet, and Vaccination Guide Leaflet
This activity is expected to be able to help meet the needs of Convalescent Blood and Plasma in the Province of Bali.
