CARDIAC National Seminar: Critical Action for Rapid Diagnosis and Intervention in Cardiac Vascular Cases

The Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) of the Janar Duta Medical Assistance Team (TBM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a national seminar with the theme "CARDIAC: Critical Action for Rapid Diagnosis and Intervention in Cardiac Vascular Cases" on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in the Dr. A. A. Made Djelantik Room, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Denpasar Campus.

The national seminar was opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Md Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., who in his remarks conveyed the importance of this theme and supported the continued implementation of the Janar Duta TBM national seminar. The seminar closed with a symbolic gong striking.

The 2025 Janar Duta TBM national seminar was held in a hybrid format and featured four speakers:
1. Dr. dr. Ketut Putu Yasa, Sp.B., Sp.BTKV., Subsp.VE(K)., FICS., FIATCVS., who presented the topic "Overview of Surgical Cardiovascular Emergency"
2. Dr. I Putu Kokohana Arisutawan, Sp.BTKV., Subsp.VE(K)., FIATCVS., who presented the topic "Stronger Hearts, Longer Lives: The Role of Lifestyle, Prevention, and Early Diagnosis in Reducing Cardiovascular Risk"
3. Dr. dr. Prasetyo Edi, Sp.BTKV., Subsp.VE(K)., FIHA., MH., FIATCVS., who presented the topic "Preventing Malpractice in Cardiovascular Services: Patient Safety Lessons from Emergency Cases"
4. Dr. dr. Niko Azhari Hidayat, Sp.BTKV., Subsp.VE(K)., FIHA., FIATCVS., who presented the topic "Vascular Trauma: Emergency Management in Major Vessel Injury."

The 2025 TBM Janar Dūta national seminar was attended by 1,269 online participants and 141 offline participants, consisting of pre-clinical and clinical students, doctors, and even new students from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
