Clinical Teacher Training for Specialist Study Program Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year
The Professional Education Implementation Coordination Unit (KP3) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) together with the Education Coordinating Committee (Komkordik) of Prof. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital held a Clinical Teacher Training activity for Specialist Study Program Students, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
A specialist doctor education student will later undergo education at a teaching hospital so that he will be involved in educational activities at the hospital. Therefore, this clinical teacher training was carried out which is expected to be applied by students during their studies.
This training took place for 1 day (Thursday, January 13, 2025) in lecture rooms 4.01 and 4.02 of the Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University. The number of students involved was 195 people. The students consisted of PPDS-1 and PPDS-2. The materials provided are divided into 3 sessions, where the first session is filled with an introduction to clinical education with the material: The Role of Komkordik in Improving the Quality of Clinical Education in Hospitals, Indonesian Doctor Competency Standards, and Role Models.
The 2nd session is a clinical guidance method with the material: Bed Side Teaching, and Constructive Feedback. The 3rd session with material on clinical education evaluation methods, including: Case Based Discussion, Mini-CEX, DOPS, and Multi Source Feedback. The event ended with a workshop for students with education coordinators in each clinical department.
