Collaboration of FK Unud and IKAFONA Holds Seminar and Workshop on Handling Sports Injuries

In order to improve competence in handling sports injuries, on August 31 - September 1, 2024, the Alumni Association of the Special Commissariat for Sports Physiology of Udayana University (IKAFONA) together with Masters Students of Sports Physiology of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) Class of 2023 held a seminar and workshop with the theme "Comprehensive Medical Strategies for Managing Instability Injuries in Sports: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach" which took place at the Postgraduate Hall of Udayana University and Prof. Nala Room, 4th Floor. Cakra Vidya Usadha Building, FK Unud, Denpasar.

This event presented experienced speakers, including:

1. Dr. dr. I Putu Adiartha Griadhi, S.Ked, M.Fis with the topic Exercise for Instability Joint to Prevent Injury

2. S. Indra Lesmana, SKM, SSt.Ft, M.Or., Sp.F.OR. with the topic Physiotherapist Experience During Management of Instability Joint in Sport Cases

3. Dr. M. Ikhwan Zein, Sp. KO, Subsp.ALK with the topic Kinesiotape as Instability Management in Sport Injury

In addition to getting material presentations from speakers, in-depth discussions and useful practical sessions made the two-day activities full of knowledge and inspiration. It is hoped that with the implementation of this seminar and workshop, the knowledge gained can be applied to improve the handling of injuries in sports.
