Community Service Masters Program in Public Health FK Unud

Students of the Master of Public Health Sciences (MIKM) Study Program class XII, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a community service activity to Socialize the Adaptation of New Habits and Gebyar Germas in the Penglukatan Temple, Pancoran Solas, Taman Mumbul, Sangeh Village, Badung, Bali. This community service activity is a collaboration between MIKM FK Unud students and the Badung Provincial Health Office. The event was attended by the Vice Regent of Badung, the Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, the Head of the Badung Regency Office, the Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, the Coordinator of the MIKM Unud Study Program, the Badung Regency DPRD, and the Abiansemal Sub-District Head.

Vice Regent of Badung, Drs. I Ketut Suiasa, SH, also responded positively to this activity. He also invited the community and all stakeholders in the community to be committed and have integrity in carrying out the community movement for clean and healthy living behavior in a sustainable and integrated manner. According to him, the collaboration between the Badung District Health Office and the Unud MIKM shows good synergy between the community and stakeholders in the health sector. "I hope in the future that collaborations like this can be carried out again and even improved in quality," he said.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, MSi.,SpMK(K) fully supports this activity. According to him, this activity is a manifestation of students and the campus is not a beacon, there is only innovation in the campus environment but also innovation, especially health innovation in the community. "Students are people who apply interprofessional education, we work together to solve a problem so that we can create innovations that can improve the standard of living and health of the community, especially the Sangeh Village community where we do this community service," he said.

The Head of the Badung District Health Office, dr. I. He also hopes that this activity can improve the health quality of the Badung community and realize that healthy living is not an appeal but a necessity.

In this activity, the organizers gave donations to the temple management in the form of health promotion videos, pigeons, fish and lotus flowers. This handover was also marked by symbolic actions of releasing doves, fish, and planting lotuses.

The event closed with the handing over of souvenirs in the form of plaques.
