During a Pandemic, Medical faculties from three countries share their experiences and innovations in medical education

Prof. Zsuzsoka Kecskes of the Australian National University (ANU) Medical School, Prof. Neena Khanna of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih of Udayana University spoke about the challenges they faced, the lessons they learned, and the innovations they used during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The title of this webinar activity is 'Reflections and Innovations in Medical Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic,' and it was carried out online on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Dr. Januartha shared his experience with digital transformation, particularly for lecturers when giving lectures, as well as making adjustments in clinical learning and performing assessments. Furthermore, because Bali's economy is significantly influenced by the tourism sector, Dr. Komang offered solutions such as modifying tuition costs and granting tuition fee waivers for students affected by the pandemic. The three speakers all shared similar ideas, such as the need of designing optimum online learning and analyzing students' and lecturers' psychological aspects during the pandemic.

This webinar is the first activity of Udayana University and ANU's Link and Share program, which aims to promote cooperation and support across medical faculties. Participants from 11 nations bombarded this interactive session with numerous questions.
