Evaluation of Covid-19 Services at Unud Hospital

Located in the Meeting room of the Unud Hospital, the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty Prof. Dr. dr.I Ketut Suyasa with the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Dr. dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari held a Covid-19 Service Evaluation Meeting at Unud Hospital. The meeting was attended by the Director of Unud Hospital, Dr.dr. Dewa Gede Purwa S., Sp.S., Coordinators of the Specialist Education Study Program of FK Unud, Prof.dr. Ketut Tuti Parwati Merati, Sp.PD-KPTI, FINASIM, Dr. dr. I Ketut Agus Somia, Sp.PD-KPTI., dr. I Made Susila Utama, Sp.PD-KPTI., dr. AA Ayu Yuli Gayatri, Sp.PD-KPTI and dr. Ni Made Dewi Dian Sukmawati., Sp.PD-KPTI. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Health Sector of the Bali Prop Bali Task Force, dr. DG Basudewa, SpKJ.

In this evaluation meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine said that the Internal Medicine Specialist Education Study Program was the backbone and the front line for Covid-19 services at the Unud Hospital and was assisted by other station residents whose assignments had been arranged by the Unud Hospital Management. On that occasion, the Coordinator of the ENT Specialist Education Study Program was also asked to increase the number of ENT residents to help with Covid-19 services.

When the evaluation meeting was in progress, suddenly there was a visit by the Secretary of the Bali Province, Dewa Made Indra, who was accompanied by the Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, dr. Ketut Suarjaya MPH, to ensure the readiness of the Hospital Lab. Unud conducts examinations for Covid-19 diagnostics.
Mr. Sekda hopes that the Unud Hospital can become a center of excellence and become a model for handling quality Covid patients in Bali.
Finally, the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty and the Director of the Unud Hospital and the team accompanied the Bali Provincial Secretary and the Team to directly review the readiness of the Hospital Lab. Unud. When reviewing the Lab, accompanied by Dr.rer.nat. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi (Head of the Integrated Biomedical Lab Unit, FK Unud) as the Coordinator of PCR Examination in the Hospital Lab. Unud.
