Facilitator Training for Lecturers in FK Unud

The application of competency-based curriculum changes the learning orientation from teacher centered to student centered and changes in learning strategies towards integrated learning with learning methods from large classes to small group work. This change resulted in the task of a lecturer changing from lecturing in front of the class to being more of a student facilitator. This change in role requires special skills that can be obtained, one of which is by participating in facilitator training.

Due to this change in role, the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) organizes Facilitator Training for lecturers in the Unud Medical Faculty.

The training event was attended and opened directly by the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K).

According to the Coordinator of UP3M FK Unud, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., this training aims to equate perceptions of competence and strategies to become facilitators in the teaching and learning process for FK Unud lecturers so as to improve the ability of lecturers as facilitators who effective. It is hoped that the small group discussions he manages can take place in a conducive situation to achieve the desired learning objectives.

This training presented speakers including:

2. Ns. I Kadek Saputra, S. Kep., M. Erg

3. Dr. Putu Gede Sudira,S.Ked.,M.Sc., Sp.S

The training was attended by 123 lecturers, who came from various departments and study programs within the Faculty of Medicine, Unud.
