Field Assessment of Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program Accreditation, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

The Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University has established an Accredited Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program in order to preserve and improve the quality of education and services.

The Field Assessment by LAM-PTKes was held on the 15th and 16th of March 2022 in Dr. A A Made Djelantik's room, with two assessors :

1. Dr. dr. Setyo Widi Nugroho Sp.BS(K) (Assessor 1)

2. Dr. Muhammad Rizal Chaidir,Sp.OT(K)., M.Kes(MMR)., MH.Kes. (Assesor 2)

The celebration began with statements by Dr.dr.Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, Dean of Unud's Medical Faculty, and was officially opened by Prof.Dr.Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU, Chancellor of Unud.

The Dean stated in his address that this accreditation procedure is one of the quality assurance processes used to ensure the quality of study program graduates. "This accreditation procedure will serve as a catalyst for establishing a long-term quality culture." Dr. Januartha went on to say.

Meanwhile, Udayana University's Chancellor stated that the Faculty of Medicine accounts for over 28% of the university's study programs, and that the Bachelor of Medicine and Doctoral Profession Study Program has recently received an Excellent Accreditation grade. "Hopefully, today's certification of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program will go well, and assessors will have a clearer picture to achieve the best results," Prof. Antara remarked.

The Director of Human Resources and Education of Sanglah Hospital, the President Director of Unud Hospital, the Chair of LP3M Unud, the Chair of USDI, the Chair of the Unud Library, the Deputy Deans of FK Unud, the Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, and the entire Accreditation Task Force Team all attended this activity.

Today's assessment agenda is;

1. The meeting of the Assessor Team with the leadership of the Study Program Management Unit and the Forum for Practice.

2. Presentation and clarification by the head of the Study Program Management Unit.

3. Discussion of the Assessor Team with the head of the Study Program Management Unit.

4. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of lecturers who teach in the relevant study program.

5. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of education personnel regarding academic and non-academic services.

6. Interviews and assessments with students representing all students from each class regarding academic and non-academic services.

7. Visits to satellite rides and the Network Hospital
