First Postgraduate Medical Education National Colloquium

In order to strengthen and maintain efforts to improve the quality of postgraduate education in the pandemic era, share practical experiences to expand the repertoire of education managers, provide opportunities for students to interact with decision and policy makers in the education process. Department/PS of Pediatrics FK Unud/RSUP Sanglah-Denpasar Bali in collaboration with the Indonesian Collegium of Pediatrics, IDAI, and the IKA-Bali Foundation held the First Postgraduate Medical Education National Colloquium with the theme "Safe and sound completion of post-graduate medical education in the pandemic era”

The event, which was held online through the website www.postgradmededu2020.com and the zoom meeting application, was opened online by the Dean of FK Unud Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB., SpOT(K).

As we know, postgraduate education has its own unique obstacles during the pandemic both in the main teaching hospitals as well as satellites and affiliates. National presentations for students are constrained because presentation containers generally cannot be carried out. In addition, the congress that discusses postgraduate medical education is very limited, so it is necessary to adapt and innovate the way of implementing the curriculum and learning achievement. This situation moved Dr.dr. Ketut Dewi Kumara Wati, Sp.A(K) as the chairman of the committee in this event to hold a forum that is expected to help in learning achievement, a place to share management experiences in a pandemic situation, and can help in accelerating the learning achievement process in this pandemic era.
