FK Unud Hosts "Training of Trainers" for Blended Learning Course Development via the OASE LMS (2026)

The Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University (FK Unud), through its Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), organized a "Training of Trainers" (ToT) session focused on developing blended learning courses using the OASE Learning Management System (LMS). This initiative represents one of FK Unud's efforts to strengthen faculty capacity and encourage the optimal use of digital technology in the learning process (August 26, 2026).

The Coordinator of the UP3M at FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Wayan Juli Sumadi, S.Ked., Sp.P.A., Subsp.M.S.(K), presented a report on the event's implementation. He noted that the ToT session reflects UP3M’s commitment to fostering learning development that adapts to technological advancements and the evolving needs of higher education in the digital era.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.O.T., Subsp.Onk.Ort.R(K). In his remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of instructional innovation and technology utilization in enhancing educational quality. The implementation of blended learning via the OASE LMS is expected not only to support effective material delivery but also to improve learning interactions, the quality of assessments, and the overall student learning experience.

The ToT program featured sessions designed to enhance practical skills in managing learning activities through the OASE LMS. The first session, covering "Class Management, Course Materials, and Assignments," was presented by dr. I Made Pramana Dharmatika, MHPE. This was followed by a session on "Quizzes and Exporting Grades to Excel," presented by dr. Rini Martina Siallagan, Sp.GK. Both sessions were moderated by Dr. dr. I Nyoman Wardana, M.Biomed. In addition to the presentation of concepts and technical aspects of using the LMS, participants gained insight into real-world implementation through a third session titled "Examples of OASE LMS Implementation in the Medical Professional Program at the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy." This session was presented by Dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Aryawangsa, Sp.An-TI, and moderated by Dr. Ns. I Kadek Saputra, S.Kep., M.Erg. It offered participants the opportunity to observe how the OASE LMS supports the learning process at both the study program and departmental levels.

Through this Training of Trainers (ToT) event, participants are expected not only to enhance their skills in managing classes, course materials, assignments, quizzes, and evaluation results via the OASE LMS but also to act as catalysts for the development of blended learning within their respective study programs. The event also served as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices among study programs regarding the optimization of technology-based learning.

The event concluded with a discussion session, allowing participants to ask questions and raise any challenges encountered while using the OASE LMS. Through this initiative, the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University (FK Unud) reaffirms its commitment to developing an innovative, interactive, and adaptive learning ecosystem focused on enhancing educational quality, in line with the digital transformation in higher education.
