FK Unud Senate appoints Chair and Secretary for the 2026–2030 term

The Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University (FK Unud) successfully held the election for the Chair and Secretary of the FK Unud Senate for the 2026–2030 term. The event took place at the Dr. A.A. Made Djelantik Meeting Room, 4th Floor of the FK Unud Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Monday, September 14, 2026.

The election proceedings began with a comprehensive presentation on the Rector's Regulation regarding the Faculty Senate, delivered by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). To ensure the smooth and neutral conduct of the election plenary session, the oldest and youngest senate members were appointed to facilitate the voting and deliberation processes: Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Oka Adnyana, Sp.S(K) (Oldest Senate Member) and dr. I Komang Adhi Parama Harta, Sp.BTKV, Subsp.JD(K), FICS (Youngest Senate Member).

Moving to the core agenda, the session proceeded with the nomination and confirmation of candidates. Through a vote, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., was officially elected and appointed as the Chair of the FK Unud Senate for the 2026–2030 term.

Following the appointment of the Chair, the agenda immediately continued with the selection of the Senate Secretary to support the new senate leadership structure. On this occasion, the elected Senate Chair appointed Prof. Dr. dr. I Wayan Niryana, S.Ked., M.Kes., Sp.BS(K) to assume the role of FK Unud Senate Secretary for the 2026–2030 term. The entire series of events concluded with the newly elected Senate Chair and Secretary expressing their deep respect and gratitude to all Senate members present for their participation, integrity, and full support throughout the election process.
