Inauguration of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Laboratory at Unud . Hospital

In the context of handling the spread of Covid-19 in Bali, today (6/5) a PCR examination laboratory has been inaugurated for Covid-19 patients. This laboratory is located at the Unud Hospital which is also one of the special hospitals for handling Covid-19.

This laboratory was inaugurated directly by the Governor of Bali, Dr. Ir. I Wayan Koster, MM which was attended by officials from the Bali Provincial Government and also Udayana University including; Regional Secretary of the Bali Provincial Government, Dewa Made Indra, Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, dr. Ketut Suarjaya, MPPM, Head of the Health Sub Task Force of the Bali Province Covid-19 Acceleration and Handling Task Force dr. I Dewa Gede Basudewa SpKJ, Unud Chancellor Prof. Dr. dr AA Raka Sudewi, SpS, Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation and Information Prof. Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra, Dean of FK Unud Prof. Dr.dr. I Ketut Suyasa, SpB, SpOT, Director of Unud Hospital Dr.dr.DPG Purwa Samatra, SpS, Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Dr.dr. AA Wiradewi Lestari, SpPK and Coordinator of PCR Examination Dr.rer.nat. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi and the team.

In this event, the Dean said, "As the Head of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud, he is very happy that the PCR Lab has been inaugurated at the Unud Hospital, because with the PCR Lab, patients will be treated quickly and appropriately to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. So the hope is that the Covid-19 pandemic can end soon and people can return to normal activities soon."
