Keeping the Quality Standards of Nurse Graduates, FK Unud Organizes Clinical Educator Training


In order to maintain the quality standards of nurse graduates amid the rapid development of nursing science, the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Ners Professional Education, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held a Preceptorship Workshop (Clinical Educator Training) at the Prof. Rai meeting room, Cakra Vidya Usadha Building, Denpasar. Followed by participants from the Nursing Undergraduate Study Program and Nursing Professional Education, Stikes Wira Medika, Triatma Mulya University, and Stikes Advaita Tabanan, this training invited two resource persons from the Association of Indonesian Nursing Education Institutions (AIPNI), namely:

1. Agus Setiawan, S.Kp., M.N., D.N.

2. Dr. Enie Novieastari, S.Kp., MSN


Officially opened by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, in his remarks the Dean said that this training is very important because clinical educators are a component that determines the quality of graduates later so that the presence and role of clinical educators is still a vital part.

"The development of nursing science is currently growing rapidly, but this development cannot be directly applied or felt by institutions in rural areas, so the preceptorship workshop is important to equalize standards that can be used for all institutions so that they can produce graduates with the same standards." he said.


After the opening, the event continued with the presentation of material by the speakers and discussion sessions.
