KMPA Latdas 2021

The AIDS Care Student Group (KMPA) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held an online KMPA Latdas 2021 with the theme "Enrich Your Knowledge, Build Up the Empathy, and Break the Stigma". The purpose of this activity is to increase students' understanding of HIV/AIDS and to form new cadres of KMPA FK Unud as part of the regeneration process.

This Latdas was attended and opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. In his speech, he said that the CA KMPA Latdas activity in 2021 was a good and appropriate forum for honing soft skills for all prospective members. He hopes that the material obtained can prepare prospective members so that they have sufficient knowledge in educating the public. He also hopes that prospective members can participate in a series of Latdas activities until the end well and maximally. Armed with the knowledge and experience gained, he hopes that all participants will be able to jointly break the stigma given the large amount of negative stigmatization of HIV/AIDS in society.

This event was also attended by the supervisor of KMPA FK Unud, dr. Made Oka Negara, S.Ked., M.Biomed., FIAS, Head of BEM Hillary Sekarningrum Ompussunggu, and Chair of KMPA Tjokorda Istri Devitia Widya Paramita Putri, as well as delivering material presentations including:

1. HIV/AIDS material by dr. Made Susila Utama, Sp. PD-KPTI, FINASIM

2. Drug material by Dr. dr. Luh Nyoman Alit Aryani, Sp.KJ(K)

3. Material on STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) by dr. Made Oka Negara, S. Ked., M. Biomed., FIAS

4. Public Poster Material by Shantika Aprilia Rachmawati

The event ended with an announcement from the core committee to prospective members.
