National Self-Diagnosis Seminar: Increase Self-Awareness and Stop Misconceptions
The Psychology Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a national seminar in a hybrid format, with the main venue being the Dr. A.A. Made Djelantik Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University. The seminar focused on the theme "Self-Diagnosis: Increase Self-Awareness and Stop Misconceptions!" (July 20, 2025).
The event was opened online by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, represented by the Advisor of the Psychology Student Association, David Hizkia Tobing, S.Psikologi., Master of Arts. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of self-diagnosis in today's era for the psychological well-being of adolescents and the younger generation.
"I warmly welcome the theme of Self-Diagnosis, as it is crucial for the psychological development of adolescents and the younger generation today. It's engaging, contemporary, and relatable to our daily lives. Therefore, participants should take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions with the speakers, both in-person and online," said David Hizkia Tobing.
Following the opening ceremony, the event continued with presentations by two speakers:
1. Nago Tejena, M.Psi., Psychologist
2. Ni Made Pradnya Amadeandra Kusuma, M.Psi., Psychologist
Moderated by Anak Agung Sagung Istri Nanda Widya Saraswati, S.Psi.
The presentations continued with an audience storytelling session, an interactive Q&A session, interspersed with mindfulness meditation practices and light entertainment to maintain a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.
Seminar participants enthusiastically participated in all aspects of the event, including the Q&A session with expert speakers and the entertainment session, which included awards for game winners and active questioners.
With an informative yet enjoyable concept, this event is expected to reach participants from various backgrounds in a more inclusive manner.
