NATIONAL SEMINAR “UDAYANA DENTISTRY SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR 2018”

The 2018 Udayana Dentistry Scientific Seminar (UDSS) was successfully held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The event, which is one of the work programs in the PSDM HMKG Field, was carried out with the aim of providing the latest information for students and dentists regarding the development of science and technology in dentistry, in addition to introducing the undergraduate study program in dentistry and the dentistry profession at FK Unud nationally. . Not only seminars, this event also facilitates hands-on which is expected to train participants' abilities which are still related to the material given at the seminar.

This time, UDSS carried the theme An Update of Endodontic and Prosthodontic Treatment by bringing several speakers, namely drg. Sandy Aditya S, Sp. Prost, Dr. drg. Dewa Made Wedagama, Sp. KG, and drg. IGA Fienna N. Sidiartha, Sp. KG.

In addition to the seminar, there are also several exhibition stands for sellers of dental equipment and materials and on this occasion there was also a public poster competition which was held earlier. This public poster competition is a medium to hone the creativity of dental undergraduate students as well as to introduce the undergraduate study program of dentistry and the dental profession of Udayana University to other universities.

According to Velicia Cindy Poniman as the head of the event committee, this year's UDSS activity has gone smoothly even though there were some obstacles, but the committee can solve it immediately.

"Hopefully the next UDSS must be better than this year, to be improved from all aspects so that more and more people will know what UDSS is like," said Velicia regarding hopes for the next UDSS.
