RSGM Udayana University and Study Program of Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentist Profession FK Unud Organize Social Service in Besakih, Karangasem

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, Udayana University Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) and Study Program of Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentist Profession Faculty of Medicine Udayana University (PSSKGPDG FK Unud) in collaboration with Healthy Bali Dental Movement held a Social Service at SDN 1 and 2, Besakih, Karangasem. This activity was held to raise children's awareness about the importance of maintaining oral health from an early age. At this social service, activities were carried out in the form of providing topical application of flouride (TAF), a simple technique for applying fluoride to the surface of the teeth which aims to prevent cavities in children. On the same day after the social service was completed, the activity continued with prayer activities with the entire PSSKGPDG Academic Community at Besakih Temple and gathering at Mahagiri Resort. This activity was also attended by the Director of RSGM FK Unud; Dr. drg. Putu Ratna Kusumadewi Giri, Sp.KG., Director of Medical Services and Support of RSGM UNUD; drg. Eka Pramudita Ramadhany, Sp.Perio (K) RPI., Director of General and Finance of RSGM UNUD; drg. Anak Agung Gde Dananjaya Agung, Sp.RKG., Subsp.R.D.P(K)., Coordinator of PSSKGPDG; Dr. drg. Putu Ratna Kusumadewi Giri, Sp.KG., Head of Department; drg. Mia Ayustina Prasetya, Sp.KGA, Chairperson of the Social Service; drg. Nyoman Ayu Anggayanti, M.Biomed., Sp.BMM., Subsp.TMTMJ(K)., as well as the Principal of SDN 1 and 2 Besakih.
