Located in dr. AAMade Djelantik, Chair of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Program opened the Scientific Competition Of Nursing Udayana (SOUND) 2019 HM Nursing Science, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

The background of this activity is to improve the quality of hard skills and soft skills of Indonesian nurses. In realizing nurses who are able to compete globally, we need an activity that is able to show the hard skills and soft skills of Indonesian nursing students in general and nursing students in Bali in particular. Through this activity, it is hoped that it will become an arena for Indonesian nursing students to find skills and creativity that can be used to improve professionalism in an effort to improve the quality of health services.

SOUND held 5 competitions, namely popular scientific essays, educational videos, public posters, Literature Review and Debate. From each competition branch, 10 finalists were selected for the essay competition, Litrev, public posters, videos and 5 finalists for the debate competition. This competition begins with a preliminary round which begins in early June. SOUND activities are carried out for 3 days, namely:
1. (1 November 2019) Opening of SOUND and the technical meeting and drawing of presentation serial numbers and determining the rules during the competition.
2. (2 November 2019) there will be a presentation of works and a city tour
3. (3 November 2019) a national nursing seminar and announcement of winners will be held.

The finalists who took part in SOUND were 124 participants. The agencies participating in the 2019 SOUND competition were:
