Series II Workshop on Curriculum Development in Accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 53 of 2023

The Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UPPPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a Series II Workshop on Curriculum Development in Accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 53 of 2023. This workshop took place in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Meeting Room, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Sudirman, Denpasar. (8/8/2025)

The workshop was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K)., who in his remarks expressed his appreciation to the Coordinator of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UPPPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, S.Ked., Ph.D., who organized the "Series II Workshop on Curriculum Development in Accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 53 of 2023 at the Faculty of Medicine," a crucial workshop for collaboratively reviewing existing curriculum adjustments in each study program. The curriculum is a vital component of the learning process, serving as a guide for all stakeholders involved in helping students graduate with the desired competencies. The curriculum must adapt to new needs and regulations, as well as future educational challenges. Therefore, a selective review process is essential, involving all stakeholders, both internal and external.

The workshop was attended by study program coordinators and curriculum managers in each study program. Moderated by Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Wisnu Wardhana, Sp.BS., Subsp.TB., FINSS.FICS, the event featured four speakers:

1. dr. Ida Bagus Amertha Putra Manuaba, MBiomed, PhD., with the topic "Learning Methods and Experiences (Academic), including the Implementation of Interprofessional/Multidisciplinary Education in Learning."

2. Dr. I Gusti Ayu Harry Sundariyati, S.Ked., MHPE., with the topic "Methods and Learning (Specialist and Subspecialist Professions), including the Implementation of Interprofessional Education."

3. Dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, S.Ked., Ph.D., with the topic "Research Implementation as a Final Project (Thesis, Dissertation, and Dissertation").

4. Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, S.Ked., Ph.D., with the topic "Research and Publication Ethics."

Following the presentations by the four speakers, the event continued with a discussion session.
