Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Dr. Petrus Reinhard Golose in his speech thanked the Head of the Provincial Health Office. Bali, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and the Chief Executive of BPBD Prov. Bali who was present to carry out the signing of the MoU.
In his remarks, the Bali Police Chief also said that currently the Indonesian National Police in general and the Bali Police in particular are faced with a fairly heavy task, because there are three important things that must be faced at the same time, namely;
First, the Covid 19 pandemic, the transmission rate is still quite high in the Balinese community and will affect members of the National Police.
Second, the response of a group of people who reject the Job Creation Act (OMNIBUS LAW), which tends to be anarchic if not handled properly.
Third, the ongoing series of Pilkada processes definitely requires the presence of security officers.
With the signing of this agreement, it is hoped that later it will be able to encourage prevention efforts so that the level of transmission mainly to Polri personnel can be minimized.
All of this will lead to the maintenance of the implementation of the duties of the Police at the Bali Police which in turn can contribute to the efforts of the Bali Government to restore the community's economy through the tourism sector.
The signing ceremony of the Mou ended with the handing over of souvenirs from the Bali Police to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and the Bali Government (Head of the Health Service and Head of BPBD Executive) and filled with a group photo session at the end of the event.
