Soft Skill Training for Specialist Study Program Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year


The Coordinating Unit for the Implementation of Professional Education (KP3) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University together with the Education Coordinating Committee (Komkordik) of Prof. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital held a Soft Skill Training activity for Specialist Study Program Students of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.


As a doctor, hard skills are not the only abilities that need to be honed, but also soft skills. Soft skills are essential and important for our daily lives, which are demonstrated through interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. Therefore, this soft skill training was carried out which is expected to be applied by students during their studies.


This training was chaired by Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A(K) and also coordinated by Dr.dr. Ni Made Renny Anggreni Sp.PD-KHOM-FINASIM which lasted for 2 days, namely Monday, January 10, 2025 and Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in lecture rooms 4.01 and 4.02 and meeting room Dr. A.A. Made Djelantik Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The number of students involved was 205 people.


On the first day, the material started from the Philosophy of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University which was presented by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., then continued with the Philosophy of RSUP Prof. IGNG Ngoerah which was presented by the President Director of RSUP Prof. Ngoerah, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes. The event continued with the delivery of material on Doctor Professionalism, Good Learner and Clinician, Good Presentation, and Principle of Scientific Writing which was presented by lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.


The second day continued with a presentation on the Socialization of Pertor and Technical Guidelines for Bullying at Udayana University and Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah General Hospital, by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., then the Delivery of Ethics and Discipline of Students of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital, followed by the Role of BPJS in Supporting Financing and Services in Hospitals by the Deputy Deputy of BPJS, Registration of Students in the Kemendikbudristek Recording System by the UP3D Team, the next session was a session to practice the material given in the previous material, namely a role play session, a power point presentation and a presentation of journal reviews carried out per group according to what had been distributed. The participants were enthusiastic and entertained because before starting the presentation, each group performed interesting cheers. The event continued with the awarding of prizes for groups and participants with the best delivery of constructive feedback and ended with a closing ceremony.
