Synergy between FK Unud and Unilever to Support Dental Health Through School Health Program 2023

In order to celebrate the National Dental Health Month (BKGN) 2023, the Bachelor of Dentistry and Dentist Profession Study Program (PSSKGPDG) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in collaboration with PT Unilever Indonesia has held a School Health Program (SHP) in three schools in Badung Regency, Bali.

SHP is a clean and healthy living program that aims to provide education to students, teachers, and parents to get used to the behavior of brushing teeth in the morning and at night and regularly visiting the dentist. SHP was held for 3 days, the first day was held on November 7, 2023 at SDN 4 Jimbaran, the second day on November 8, 2023 at SLBN 1 Badung, and the third day on November 10, 2023 at SDN 4 Benoa.

Activities carried out at SHP include counseling on how to brush teeth properly and correctly to students, teachers, and parents, dental examinations for students, provision of a 21-day calendar for morning and night brushing, provision of tools for toothbrushing, and toothbrushing together held in the school yard.
