In an effort to increase youth involvement in global issues, while providing space for the exchange of ideas, innovation, and skills development, Global Youth Ambassadors in collaboration with the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (BEM FK Unud) held The 5th Asia Youth Summit (AYS) on February 23 - February 26, 2025. Officially opened in the Dr. A.A. Made Djelantik Room, FK Unud Building, Denpasar, on this occasion the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D who was also present to give a speech expressed his hope that the younger generation can increase their concern for the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and with this meeting can be a forum that brings together young people from various countries in Asia to discuss, share insights, and collaborate in discussing various global issues, which this year focuses on climate action goals.


On this occasion, AYS collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University to strengthen and expand the academic and professional impact of this activity. This activity involves participants from all over Asia in the age range of 15-35 who are concerned about global issues regarding the environment. The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as an academic partner also contributed to the organization of the event, both in terms of speakers, facilities, and academic support.


The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University was chosen as a partner because of its reputation in medical education and its commitment to supporting the development of the younger generation in the field of health and concern for climate change and environmental issues in Bali. Through various discussion sessions, seminars, and conferences. Participants will gain insight from experts and the opportunity to see firsthand the implementation of existing programs in Bali.


This collaboration is expected to have a significant impact on the development of Asian youth in facing global challenges.
