The Neurology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/ Sanglah Central General Hospital Denpasar organizes regular annual scientific activities that are local with regional-national coverage.

THE 8th BALI NEUROLOGY UPDATE (BANU) with the theme SLEEP, NEUROPHYSIOLOGY, NEUROBEHAVIOR "Upgrading and Implementing the Comprehensive Neurology for Better Well-being." The activity was held in Denpasar, Bali on Saturday and Sunday, 18-19 December 2021 and was presented in the form of virtual symposiums/scientific meetings, offline dry needling workshops, scientific posters, and virtual and online pharmaceutical exhibitions.

This event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. and in his speech said that a doctor is obliged to develop medical science and technology in their respective fields including the field of neurology, so that they can help improve skills and provide more comprehensive and holistic health services in an effort to improve public health status.

This scientific activity aims to increase knowledge about diagnosis and management holistically so that they can be more critical in preventing and dealing with all challenges including sleep disorders, neurophysiology, and neurobehavior.

This event was attended by invited guests, namely the Head of Perdossi Denpasar Branch, Head of Department/KSM Neurology FK Unud/RSUP Sanglah, Professors and Elders of Neurology at Udayana University, Neurology Staff and 327 symposium participants and 23 Workshop participants spread from Sumatra to Papua.
