The Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Graduates Three New Neurosurgeons
The Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a Thanksgiving and Neurosurgery Specialist Brevet Ceremony on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Mercure Resort Sanur Hotel, Bali.
The event was held to celebrate the graduation of three new Neurosurgeons:
1. Dr. Kadek Dede Frisky Wiyanjana, Sp.BS (F-ISPN)
2. Dr. Ida Bagus Gede Adiguna Wibawa, Sp.BS-FJNV (Jpn)
3. Dr. Yosep Mote, Sp.BS-FJNS (Jpn)
The event began with a report from the Coordinator of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Tjokorda Gde Bagus Mahadewa, M.Kes., Sp.BS., Subsp.TB, FICS, FINSS, AIFO-K. Next, remarks were delivered by the Head of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Putu Anda Tusta Adiputra, Sp.B, Subsp.Onk.(K), followed by the President Director of Ngoerah Hospital, represented by the Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research, Mrs. Ken Wirianti, SE, MRM, and the Chair of PERSPEBSI Bali-Nusra Branch, Prof. Dr. dr. Sri Maliawan, Sp.BS, Subsp.N-Ped, FICS.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, represented by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K). In his remarks, he congratulated the newly graduated medical specialists and expressed his gratitude for the smooth learning process.
"This success represents an important milestone for the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and reflects the commitment of the educators to assisting students until they graduate on time, in accordance with the applicable curriculum. We hope that the graduates will make a real contribution to the equitable distribution of plastic surgery services in various regions of Indonesia, applying their knowledge responsibly, upholding ethics and professionalism, and continuing to uphold the reputation of their alma mater through proud achievements," said Dr. Eka.
The event was also attended by the Director of Udayana University Hospital, Study Program Coordinators, Head of KSM, lecturers and teaching staff from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, as well as the families of the graduates and all residents of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
