Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Laboratory Management Coordination Meeting
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held a coordination meeting regarding laboratory management, held in the Prof. Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar. (October 20, 2025)
This management meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT., Subsp.Onk.Ort.R(K), and accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., and the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. dr. I Made Muliarta, S.Ked., M.Kes.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, stated that this coordination meeting aims to encourage the development of the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory (LBT) and laboratories at the department level for optimal growth. This agenda aligns with the faculty's priority programs and the Rector's directive regarding the transformation of Udayana University into a State University with Legal Entity (PTNBH). Therefore, the laboratory is expected to provide added value not only in educational aspects but also to have a tangible and positive impact on students, lecturers, and study programs within the Faculty of Medicine.
"The initial concept phase will be integrated through a system with several existing systems. This will help facilitate researchers, lecturers, students, and external researchers to carry out research activities more efficiently and accountably. We can all see this in real time and transparently. Most importantly, this service must be followed up with a satisfaction survey from system users," added Prof. Eka.
The event was also attended by the Coordinator of the Integrated Biomedical Laboratory Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. rer. nat. dr. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi, S.Ked, M.Si., Coordinator of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Unit; Dr. I Gusti Made Gde Surya Chandra Trapika, S.Ked, M.Sc, Ph.D.; and the laboratory management lecturers and technicians.
The event continued with a discussion session.
