Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Leadership Meeting for January 2026
The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held its January 2026 Leadership Meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in the Dr. A.A. Made Djelantik Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, Denpasar. (January 20, 2026)
The meeting began with a presentation by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud), Prof. Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K)., who presented several strategic points related to the policy direction and planning of FK Unud for 2026. In his presentation, the Dean emphasized the performance targets in the Draft Performance Agreement between the Dean of FK and the Rector of Udayana University for 2026, and briefly reviewed the development of Udayana University's organizational structure following its transition to a State University with Legal Entity Status (PTNBH). Furthermore, it was conveyed that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) would form the basis for awarding remuneration.
Various quality improvement agendas were also highlighted, including improving facilities and infrastructure for specialist and subspecialist study programs, strengthening LBT Laboratory services and business units, and determining tuition fees for professional study programs. The Dean also provided information regarding the policy of blocking quarterly budget allocations if spending does not meet quarterly performance targets, including an overview of the Faculty of Medicine's research allocation for 2026. Furthermore, meeting minimum standards for discussion rooms/Small Group Discussions (SGDs), determining costs for professional, specialist, and subspecialist programs, and the Faculty of Medicine's preparation for the Integrity Zone (ZI) development assessment were also important aspects of the discussion. The meeting also highlighted the readiness of infrastructure to support the development of international-class facilities.
The event then continued with a presentation by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, also Acting Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., presented the details of the Key Performance Indicators performance targets in the Draft Performance Agreement for Fiscal Year 2026, as well as the timeline for study program accreditation, which is a priority for maintaining and improving the institution's quality. Furthermore, the development of new study programs and departments was presented, including the coaching and mentoring steps taken to strengthen the process. On this occasion, Prof. Ady also outlined the series of activities of the 64th BKFK, an institutional agenda that will involve various elements of the academic community.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Muliarta, S.Ked., M.Kes., emphasized the importance of improving lecture infrastructure as part of efforts to support the smooth running of the educational process. He also provided direction for activity implementers to immediately implement programs and execute expenditures according to the 2026 Fiscal Year work plan, while still adhering to quarterly targets. This step is considered crucial to ensure optimal budget absorption while supporting the achievement of overall faculty performance targets.
After the presentation, a discussion session was continued and closed with the signing of the Integrity Pact for the Implementation of the Development of an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (ZI WBK) between the Dean and the Representative of the Study Program Coordinator and the Head of the Department within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, as well as the signing of the Bullying Integrity Pact between the Dean and the Representative of the Study Program Coordinator within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
