Udayana University's Faculty of Medicine Graduates Two New Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialists

The Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held its 10th graduation ceremony for two students (residents) who have completed their specialist training. This ceremony took place in the Surgical Meeting Room of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah General Hospital, Denpasar. (July 24, 2025)

On this auspicious occasion, the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, officially graduated two new specialist doctors:

1. Dr. Anak Agung Ayu Anggreni, Sp.B.P.R.E.

2. Dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Andri Ginesthira, Sp.B.P.R.E.

The event began with a report from the Coordinator of the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Gusti Putu Hendra Sanjaya, Sp.B., Sp.B.P.R.E., Subsp. L.B.L.(K). Next, remarks were delivered by the Head of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/Ngoerah General Hospital, Prof. Dr. dr. Putu Anda Tusta Adiputra, Sp.B, Subsp. Onk.(K), followed by remarks from the President Director of Ngoerah General Hospital, Dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, who was represented on this occasion by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes. In his remarks, he congratulated the newly graduated medical specialists and expressed his gratitude for the smooth educational process they had undergone.

"This success is a significant achievement for the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and a testament to the dedication of the educators who have guided the students to graduate on time, in accordance with the established curriculum. We hope that the graduates will contribute to the equitable distribution of plastic surgery specialist services throughout Indonesia, apply the knowledge they have acquired responsibly, and consistently uphold professionalism and bring honor to their alma mater through superior performance," he said.

The event was also attended by several invited guests, including the Chairperson of PERAPI Bali-Nusa Tenggara, Dr. A.A.G.N. Asmarajaya, Sp.B, Sp.B.P.R.E., Subsp. E.L.(K); a representative from the Chairperson of the Education Coordination Committee (Komkordik) at Ngoerah General Hospital, Dr. dr. I Made Darmayasa, Sp.OG(K); the Coordinator of the Surgical Specialist Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah; Dr. dr. I Made Mulyawan, Sp.B-KBD, teaching staff Dr. dr. I Wayan Niryana, M.Kes, Sp.BS, Subsp. N-Vas, FINPS, and Dr. Putu Eka Mardhika, Sp.BS, and the families of the two new graduates.

The event continued with the presentation of graduation sashes and congratulations from the Study Program Coordinator, a thank-you speech from the graduate representative, Dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Andri Ginesthira, Sp.B.P.R.E., the presentation of souvenirs, and a warm and friendly gathering.
