Vidhya Usadha Chakra Building Ceremony

The Faculty of Medicine held the Pecaruan Lan Pemelaspas Ceremony for the Cakra Vidhya Usadha Building which fell on Purnama Kapitu, Sukra Kliwon Tolu, January 10, 2020. This ceremony was attended by the Chancellor of Udayana University, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, the Director of Sanglah Hospital, the Vice Chancellors, and the Deans in the Unud environment, the Heads of Unud institutions, the Head of Usdi, the Head of the BPU, the Head of the SPI, the Construction PPK, the Koprodi, the Heads of the Departments, the Heads of the Units and other invitees. This ceremony was accompanied by the inauguration of the Cakra Vidhya Usadha building which began with ribbon cutting by the Chancellor, followed by the signing of the inscription by the Chancellor and the Dean of FK Unud.

The new building, which is located on the Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, was built for a period of five months. This building will be used as a center for the development of science, especially in the field of medical science.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. dr. I Ketut Suyasa admitted that the Cakra Vidya Usadha Building belonging to the Faculty of Medicine was used as a laboratory for teaching and learning processes and research development. The first floor will be filled with a library, while the second to fourth floors will be used as an integrated biomedical laboratory, skill lab, and animal laboratory. Udayana University Chancellor Prof. AA Raka Sudewi hopes that this facility can improve the learning process for students, lecturers, and education staff.
