Virtual Meeting Efforts to Prevent Covid-19 Infection in Health Workers

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT(K), Dean of FKIK Warmadewa University dr. I Gusti Ngurah Anom Murdhana, Sp.FK , and the Director of Human Resources (HR) and Education of Sanglah Hospital, Dr dr Ketut Surya Negara, Sp OG(K), MARS were trusted as resource persons in the Virtual Meeting event organized by the Bali Provincial Health Office. .

This event was held in response to the increasing number of health workers who were confirmed positive for Covid-19 in Health Service Facilities. One of the objectives of this event is to discuss efforts to prevent Covid-19 infection in health workers who provide health services at health facilities.

On this occasion, the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. I Ketut Suyasa conveyed several things as an effort to prevent the infection of Health Workers, including:

1. Conduct periodic swab checks to medical personnel, paramedics, and places of service.
2. Limiting waiting and patient visitors and Regulating regulations for working officers.
3. Provide PPE one level above the recommended level.
4. Educational redesign by regulating the volume of students who practice directly in hospitals and conducting swab screening for students
5. Health protocols must be made into a culture and lifestyle.
6. Provide a thermogun, and places to wash hands for officers and visitors at the hospital entrance
7. Create an online registration site for patients.
8. Perform screening at the time of patient admission

He did not forget to also convey about the importance of community participation to comply with the recommendations of the Health Protocol for the common good.
