Visitation and Verification of Borong Hospital, East Manggarai
The Visitation and Verification Team of Borong Hospital, led by Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, M.Si, Sp.MK (K), as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Udayana Bali and consists of Dr.dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes. , Dr.dr. Yenny Kandaraini, Sp. PD, KGH(Internal Medicine Specialist)., Dr.dr. Ketut Dewi Kumara Wati, Sp. A.(K) ( Pediatrician). , dr. Pontisomaya Parami, Sp. An, MARS. (Anesthesia/for operating room) and dr. Kadek Fajar Marta, M.Biomed, Sp.OG(K) (Gynecology Specialist) Visited the location of Borong Hospital in Lehong (Wednesday 18/12/2019).
This visitation and verification is carried out as a stage of the operational requirements of a hospital, based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 56 of 2014.
The visitation is a form of implementation of the MOU of cooperation between the Pemda Matim and Udayana Bali which has been signed by both parties. The next elaboration after the MOU agreement is a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) by the Matim Health Office and the Udayana Faculty of Medicine and Sanglah-Bali Hospital. Before the PKS stage, a visit was carried out from the Udayana Faculty of Medicine to the Borong Hospital to see the readiness of the Borong Hospital to accept specialist doctors.
Visitation activities are carried out for 2 days starting from Wednesday (18-19/12/2019).
Prior to the team visit, the event began with remarks from the Head of the Matim Health Office, dr. Surip Tintin and Hospital profile exposure. In the introduction to his speech, it was explained that Borong Hospital was ready for a visit and would fix deficiencies according to the recommendations of the team, in order to improve health services according to standards, because Borong Hospital is the main choice for the people of East Manggarai Regency in obtaining health services.
After the opening, the six doctors who are also the Head of Installation at Sanglah Hospital-Bali conducted a search of the room/field and documents and equipment for each room. Furthermore, the visitation team presented the evaluation results obtained from the room search. In the post-tracing explanation, the visitation team conveyed several recommendations that must be followed up and fulfilled by the Borong Hospital.
The recommendations, among others, are related to the addition of HR improvements such as the use of medical equipment, medical equipment and the provision of standard procedures as well as structuring behavior in meeting predetermined standards. Recommendations were also conveyed that Borong Hospital must complete several facilities and infrastructure according to the recommendations that have been presented by the Visitation Team.
In closing the visitation, the Head of Health Manggarai Timur said that he would work on the existing shortages, both human resources, facilities and infrastructure according to the instructions and recommendations of the Visitation Team.
