Webinar Nasional : Integrative Medicine For Post Covid Recover Program and Recover Bali Tourism

Udayana University through the Master of Sports Physiology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a National Webinar: Integrative Medicine For Post Covid Recover And Recover Bali Tourism Program. Located in the Widya Sabha auditorium, the seminar was opened by the Minister of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahudin Uno, BBA, MBA.

In addition to presenting the Minister as a Keynote speaker, this national webinar also presented speakers including:

Udayana University Chancellor Prof. Dr. dr. AA Raka Sudewi, Sp.S.(K) conveyed that the purpose of holding this Webinar was as real support in efforts to restore tourism which had an impact on increasing unemployment in Bali during the pandemic. This webinar is also the beginning of collaboration between academics, practitioners and policy makers in organizing quality and sustainable culture-based medical tourism.

This Action Program is a concrete manifestation of the implementation of Udayana University's vision as a superior, independent, cultured university. Furthermore, the Minister said that as much as 150 trillion of our money flows abroad from medical tourism. Our main target is the upper middle class Indonesian people who have had a misperception of health services in the country

Therefore, this webinar is an adaptation, innovation and collaboration movement that is in line with the Kemenparekraf program. The minister further said, "We must have the courage to start rebranding Bali tourism in this pandemic era. We can combine Balinese dance exercises, megambel, cooking classes, yoga and meditation while isolating and recovering post-Covid-19 patients. Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia which is a project from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to realize culture-based medical tourism.

Also attending the event were the Deputy Governor of Bali, Bali Police Chief, Karungkit Level II Udayana, Head of Badung Health, Assistant II to Denpasar City Secretary, Head of Gianyar Tourism, Head of Bali Tourism Office, Chancellor of Udayana University, Chair of the Senate of Udayana University, Vice Chancellors, and other ranks. leadership at Udayana University, Director of ITDC Nusa Dua, chairman of the Bali Tourism Board.
