Anesthesia Training with Live Animals was the first in Indonesia.

Study Program Anesthesiology Specialist and Intensive Therapy Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in collaboration with PERDATIN Bali branch held a BUAS Symposium and Workshop
(Bali Update Anesthesia Skill) PERDATIN 2022 with the theme "Recover Together with Improving Anesthesia Skill" located at HARRIS Hotel & Residence Sunset Road, Bali. (23-26 November 2022)

The symposium and workshop program began with remarks from the Head of the BUAS Committee, Dr. dr. IGN Mahaalit Aribawa, Sp.An, KAR, FIPM who said that the symposium and workshop this time was the first time in Indonesia in terms of conducting Skill Development Training directly to animals that were kept alive like anesthesia in humans by using complete monitoring and anesthesia such as in the operating room.

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, who was willing to attend and at the same time opened the event in his speech, emphasized that updating knowledge through workshops and symposiums is an obligation in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

The series of workshop events continued with a symposium to update the latest knowledge in the field of anesthesia and intensive therapy for both anesthetist specialists, general practitioners working in intensive care units, and nurses.
This activity received a very good response, as seen from the number of participants who reached 212 symposium participants and 41 workshop participants.
