Caring for Elderly Health, FK Unud Organizes Health Social Service in Sibang Kaja Village, Badung, Bali
As a form of concern and support for the elderly and the community, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) through the Department of Histology in collaboration with UPTD Puskesmas Abiansemal III organized a community service located in Banjar Lambing, Sibang Kaja Village, Badung Regency, Bali. (9/9/24)
Attended by 50 elderly people from the local village, on this occasion FK Unud coordinated by the Department of Histology and the Information Management and Cooperation Unit (UPIKS) provided education about healthy lifestyles and prevention of diseases prone to the elderly as well as free health services for the elderly.
Located at the Banjar Lambing Hall, the event began with an opening by the Head of Village/Perbekel Sibang Kaja Ni Nyoman Rai Sudani, SH, who also officially opened the event. On this occasion, Rai Sudani as the Head of Sibang Kaja Village expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the activities organized by FK Unud and hoped that this activity could continue in the future.
After the opening, the event continued with health services such as checking blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol carried out by lecturers.
