Series III Workshop on Curriculum Development in Accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 53 of 2023

The Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UPPPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a Series III Workshop on Curriculum Development in Accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 53 of 2023. This workshop took place in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Room, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Sudirman Building, Denpasar. (August 22, 2025)

The workshop was opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. Dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., who in his remarks expressed his appreciation to the Coordinator of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UPPPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, S.Ked., Ph.D., who organized the Series III Workshop, which significantly assisted study programs in understanding the dynamic changes in accreditation assessments, necessitating more thorough preparation. The Pediatric Health Specialist Study Program will begin using the 8-criteria instrument, hopefully, this will serve as a reference and achieve positive results. It is hoped that this Series III workshop will improve the curriculum in accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 53 of 2023, so that it is ready when needed.

The workshop was attended by Study Program Coordinators and curriculum managers in each study program. Moderated by Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Wisnu Wardhana, Sp.BS., Subsp.TB., FINSS.FICS, it featured four speakers:

1. Dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, S.Ked., Ph.D., on the topic of Policy and Assessment Systems.

2. Dr. I Made Pramana Dharmatika, S.Ked, MHPE., with the topic "Assessment in Supporting Learning (Formative Assessment).

3. Dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., with the topic "Assessment to Support Decision Making (Summative Assessment)"

4. Prof. Dr. dr. Tjok. Gde Agung Senapathi, Sp.An.KAR., with the topic "Implementation of Assessment Policies and Assessment Quality Assurance in Study Programs."

Following the presentations by the four speakers, the event continued with a discussion session.
