Field Assessment of Re-Accreditation of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University


The Health Higher Education Self-Accreditation Agency (LAM-PTKes) conducted a field assessment in the context of re-accreditation of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This re-accreditation is carried out in order to maintain and improve the quality of education and services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.


Officially opened in the meeting room of Dr. A Made Djelantik, FK Unud-Denpasar Building, the field assessment by LAM-PTKes was held for 3 days on August 4 to 6, 2024 and was assessed by 2 assessors, namely:

  1. Dr. dr. Hardisiswo Soedjana, Sp.B.P.R.E., Subsp.E.L. (K), from Padjajaran University (assessor 1)

  2. Dr. dr. Yefta Moenadjat, Sp.B.P.R.E., Subsp.L.B.L. (K), from the University of Indonesia (assessor 2)


The opening ceremony began with remarks by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P., IPU, who also officially opened the event. On this occasion Prof. Januartha said that supervision from external parties is needed to be able to see objectively the aspects that require improvement and improvement in the management of study programs.

"We really hope that the assessors can give us an overview of the aspects that need improvement and improvement in order to maintain the quality of our study program, because the assessment by external parties will certainly be more objective and can provide useful input for improving the quality of the study program." he said.



Meanwhile, Prof. Rai in his speech said that currently there are two study programs at the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University that are internationally certified and hopes that the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program can get the desired value which is superior.

"We hope that the assessors can provide guidance and direction for the improvement of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program so that it can be in line with 20 other study programs at the Faculty of Medicine that have first won the Superior predicate" he said.


After the official opening, the event continued with a presentation by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., regarding the overview of the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS), as well as a presentation from the Coordinator of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Dr. dr. I Gusti Putu Hendra Sanjaya, Sp.B., Sp.BP-RE., Subsp. L.B.L. (K), regarding the profile of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program.


This activity was also attended by the Chairperson of LP2M Unud, Chairperson of LP3M Unud, Chairperson of USDI Unud, representative of the Head of Unud Library, Representative of the Director of the Network Hospital, Komkordik RSUP Prof. IGNG Ngoerah, Vice Deans of FK Unud, Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, and the entire Accreditation Task Force Team.


The agenda for this 3-day assessment is;

1.Meeting the assessor team with the head of the study program management unit and the practice vehicle.

2.Discussion of the assessor team with the head of the study program management unit.

3.Interview and assessment of lecturers who teach in the study program.

4.Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of education personnel regarding academic and non-academic services.

5.Interviews and assessments with alumni and students representing all students from each batch about academic and non-academic services.

6.Visitation of the assessor team to the Main Teaching Hospital and Network Hospital.
