FK Unud Provides Education on Dental, Oral, Heart Health, and the Impact of Using E-Cigarettes to Students of SMPN 5 Abiansemal, Badung.

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) through the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Unit organized community service with the theme "With Collaborative Practice We Improve Public Health" which took place at SMPN 5 Abiansemal, Badung Regency. (11/5/2024)

The purpose of this event is to improve the quality of learning, education, evaluate the success of the implementation of education and can add insight to the students on the importance of maintaining oral health, heart health, the impact of e-cigarette use and stress management.

The delegation from the FK Unud IPE Team was led by the IPE Unit Coordinator Dr. dr. Desak Ketut Indrasari Utami, Sp.S (K) who was received directly by the Principal and the SMPN 5 Abiansemal Badung Regency Team.

After the opening, the event continued with ice breaking and education to all students of SMPN 5 Abiansemal Badung Regency which was hosted by Dr. I Made Oka Negara, S.Ked., M.Biomed & nbsp; with three competent speakers in their fields, namely:

1. Drg. Riki Kristanto, M.Si with the topic of oral hygiene in adolescents a clean personal mirror

2. Dr. dr. Ketut Suarjana, MPH on the topic of e-cigarettes and their impact on health

3. Ni Made Ari Wilani, S.Psi, M.Psi with the topic of how to overcome stress with stress management

The event was closed with a question and answer session and a group photo.
