Improving Mental Health of High School Students, HMIK FK Unud Holds AKSON XVIII 2024


AKSON or Nightingale Social Action is one of the work programs at the Nursing Science Student Association (HMIK) which aims to provide education and health services to the community, especially to elementary, middle school, high school/vocational school levels in Bali. With the theme "Coping Stress: Upgrading Your Mindfulness and Self-readiness for a Great Future", this year AKSON HMIK FK UNUD was held at SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti on Saturday, April 20 2024, where this activity will target class XII students at the school .


This activity was opened directly by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Nursing and Nurse Professional Education Study Program, Dr. NS. Ni Ketut Guru Prapti, S.Kep., MNS. The AKSON HMIK 2024 event was also attended by lecturers from the Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Profession Study Program as well as teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti.


A series of diverse activities such as providing material with the title "Stress Management in Adolescents" presented by Ns. Putu Ayu Emmy Savitri Karin, S.Kep., MNS., as well as providing health services in the form of checking blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid and blood pressure. The hope that by holding this AKSON HMIK FK UNUD activity is that SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti students will be able to increase their motivation and insight in awareness and preparation for the future and that students will understand stress management which can be used in everyday life.
