Increasing Health Promotion for Mothers and Children, HMKM FK Unud Holds Peer Educator Competition
The Community of Students Concerned with Maternal and Child Health from the Public Health Student Association (HMKM) Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held the peak event of the 2024 Peer Educator Competition (LPS) in commemoration of National Children's Day 2024, which took place in lecture room 4.02, FK Unud Denpasar Building. This event was attended and opened by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked., MPH., Ph.D., who in his speech said that this LPS activity is a routine activity carried out every year and has promotive and preventive aims. The hope is that this activity can provide benefits to all parties and can become an effort to promote health to the community.
Participants in the Peer Educator Competition consist of 2 categories of participants, namely junior high school and high school/vocational school level throughout Bali. The number of participants who registered was 13 groups and 6 groups qualified to become finalists. The winners of the 2024 Peer Educator Competition (LPS) are:
1. 1st place at SMAN 1 AMLAPURA
2. 2nd place at SMAN 2 AMLAPURA
3. 3rd place at SMAN 1 Nusa Penida
