Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) FK Unud 2024, Building Excellent, Independent and Cultured Health People Towards Golden Indonesia 2045
Welcoming the arrival of the Udayana Health Student Family (Kamkesyana) Batch 2024, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held the Introduction of New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) which was attended by 806 new and old students from six Undergraduate Study Programs. Taking the theme "Synergizing in the Big Family of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University to Build Excellent, Independent and Cultured Health People Towards Golden Indonesia 2045", PKKMB 2024 activities were held at the Sudirman Campus of FK Unud, Denpasar. PKKMB 2024 was opened directly by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, which was marked by beating the gong along with symbolic name tags by six Undergraduate Study Program Coordinators. Prof. Januartha in his speech congratulated all new students for joining the big family of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University while stating the purpose of organizing PKKMB 2024.
"PKKMB is a forum to introduce and prepare new students to transform into superior, independent, and cultured health workers towards Indonesia Emas 2045. Hopefully by following this activity until the end, the new students will have the readiness to enter into life as a student." he said.
The first day of PKKMB activities was filled with introductions of faculty leadership elements starting from the introduction of the Dean and his Deputy Deans, all Study Program Coordinators for undergraduate and professional levels, the Administrative Coordinator and Sub-coordinators, and the Chairperson of the Student Executive Board (BEM). After the introduction session, the event continued with the presentation of material related to the faculty profile presented by:
Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes (Dean) with the topic Introduction of the Faculty of Medicine campus to New Students
Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K) (Vice Dean for Academic and Planning) with the topic of Knowing and Understanding Academic Guidelines (Pedomik) in the Education Process at the Faculty of Medicine
Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes (Vice Dean for General and Financial Affairs) with the topic of Utilization of Facilities in Supporting Educational Success at the Faculty of Medicine
Prof. dr. I Md Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D. (Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information) with the topic of Campus Life as a Student of FK Unud
I Gusti Ayu Diah Fridari, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psi., Ph.D., with the topic of Procedures and Technicalities for Getting Counseling Services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
In the second material presentation session, the new students were mobilized to the room according to their respective study programs to follow the material about the Study Program Profile, Introduction to the Study Program Structure, Learning and Assessment of Learning Success presented by each Study Program Coordinator and the team.
