Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program Education Workshop, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University


In order to maintain and improve the quality of graduates so that they are in accordance with the needs of society and can compete in the current era, the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) held an Education Workshop activity at the Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Meeting Room, FK Unud Building, Denpasar. (8/11/2024)


This Education Workshop is a routine agenda held every year which aims to discuss the strengthening of academic guidelines, curriculum and special standards in order to maintain and improve the quality of graduates so that they are in accordance with the needs of society in the current era. This activity began with remarks from the Coordinator of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, Prof. Dr. dr. Tjokorda Gde Bagus Mahadewa, S.Ked., M.Kes., Sp.BS(K), and the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes, who gave a speech and opened the education workshop event. On this occasion, Prof. Sudarmaja said that important workshops are held routinely to maintain the quality of graduates, and by including discussions on bullying in the field of special standards, it can certainly be a good standard to produce quality graduates who are free from bullying.


After the opening, the event continued with the delivery of materials, namely:

1. Updates to Academic Guidelines in terms of Sanctions, Morbidity, and Mortality, and Handling of Special Students,

2. Replacement of Basic Surgery Credits and Pre-Surgery Lecture RPS


After the presentation of materials from the speakers, the event continued with a discussion session regarding the evaluation of each field. Attended by all students (residents) of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program, this activity was also attended by representatives of the Chairperson of the Prof. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital Education Coordination Committee, Representatives of the Directors of Network Hospitals and all teaching lecturers, and educational staff of the Neurosurgery Specialist Study Program.
