Attend Clinical Teacher Training


All 176 new students of the FK UNUD Specialist Doctor Education Program, Even Semester FY 2023/2024, took part in Clinical Teacher training organized by the FK UNUD Professional Education Implementation Coordination Unit (KP3). The activity was held for 1 day on February 26 2024 at Lecture Room 4.01 – 4.02, Floor IV, FK UNUD Building.


This training starts at 08.30 WIT and ends at 15.30 WITA containing 3 material presentation sessions and ends with a departmental workshop. The first session began with an introduction to clinical education, namely material on the Role of Komkordik in Improving the Quality of Clinical Education in Hospitals which was explained by the Chair of Komkordik RSUP Prof IGNG Ngoerah, dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, Sp.PD, K-Ger, FINASIM represented by dr. I Made Darmayasa, sp.OG (K)-Obginsos, then continued with material on Indonesian Doctor Competency Standards presented by dr. I Wayan Sumardika S.Ked, M.Med Ed., Ph.D. There is also a presentation of material regarding Role Models by Dr. I Made Siswadi Semadi, M. Biomed, Sp. PD-KEMD. After the presentation of the three materials, it was followed by a 20 minute discussion session with the three speakers.


The second session was material regarding clinical education guidance methods which consisted of three materials, namely Bed Side Teaching presented by Dr. Dr. Made Ratna Saraswati, Sp.PD, KEMD-FINASIM, Case Based Discussion material presented by Dr. Dr. I Made Pande Dwipayana, Sp.PD-KEMD, FINASIM, and Positive Constructive Feedback material presented by Dr. Dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A (K). After the presentation of the three materials, it was continued with a discussion session and lunch break.


The third session is material on clinical education evaluation methods which consists of three materials, namely Mini-CEX (Clinical Evaluation Exercise) by dr. Pontisomaya Parami, Sp.An, MARS, FIC. Then continued with Direct Observation Procedural Skill (DOPS) material by Dr. I Made Darmayasa, Sp.OG (K)-Obginsos, and finally the Multi Sources Feedback (MSF) material by Dr. Dr. I Wayan Juli Sumadi, S.Ked, Sp.PA, Subsp. M.S.(K). A discussion session was also held at the end of session three.


Clinical teacher training ends with workshops conducted in each group in each department. The Department of Surgery (including general surgery, reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, BTKV, and neurosurgery) is facilitated by Dr. Dr. Made Agus Dwinatha Sueta, Sp.B-KBD, Department of Pediatrics by Dr. I Gusti Agung Ngurah Sugitha Adnyana, Sp.A(K), Obstetrics and Gynecology by Dr. Dr. I Gede Ngurah Harry Wijaya Surya, sp.OG(K), Internal Medicine and Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine by Dr. Dr. I Wayan Losen Adnyana, Sp.PD-KHOM, FINASIM, Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy by dr. I Putu Fajar Narakusuma, Sp.An-TI, Eye Health Science by Dr. Dr. Ni Made Ayu Surasmiati, M. Biomed, Sp. M(K). Department of ENT-KL by Dr. I Gede Wahyu Adi Raditya, Sp. ENT-KL, Psychiatry by dr. Ni Ketut Sri Diniari, Sp.KJ(K), Neurology by dr. Ni Putu Ayu Putri Mahadewi, M.Biomed, Sp.N(K), Cardiology by dr. I Dewa Gede Aditya Diprabawa, Sp.JP, FIHA(K), Radiology by dr. Dewa Gede Mahiswara Sudiatmika, Sp.Rad, Orthopedics and Traumatology department by dr. Komang Septian Sandiwidayat, Sp.OT, and the Anatomical Pathology department by Dr. Ni Putu Ekawati, M.Repro, Sp.PA. Several departments such as Clinical Pathology, Clinical Nutrition, and Clinical Microbiology did not participate in workshop activities.
