Online Meeting with the Directorate General of Higher Education

The Dean of FK Unud Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT(K) attended an online meeting invitation via Zoom organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the context of implementing medical education policies in the new normal order and following up on the recommendations of the Joint Committee of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Health Regarding the fulfillment of the rights of students from the specialist-sub-specialist doctor program in handling Covid-19, the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture together with the Ministry of Health and stakeholders will formulate more specific policies regarding the implementation of the Specialist-sub-specialist Doctor Profession Program (PPDS) education with the new normal. In addition, following up on the mandate of Law No.20/2013 concerning Medical Education and Permendikbud No.1/2020 concerning the Primary Service Doctor Program, the Director General of Higher Education Decree No. 72/E/KPT/2020 concerning Requirements and Procedures for Opening the Primary Service Medical Study Program. The meeting was chaired directly by the Director General of Higher Education Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D. which was also attended by the Chancellor and Dean of the Medical Faculty Administering PPDS, the Chancellor and Dean of the Medical Study Program Accredited A and the Joint Committee of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Health.
The main topics discussed in this meeting are:
1. Socialization of the Opening of the Primary Service Family Medicine Study Program
2. Agree on the policy for the implementation of the Specialist Medical Education Program (PPDS) with the new normal
