Preparing Specialist Learners in Following the Learning Process, FK Unud and RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Organize Soft Skill Training

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (FK Unud) together with Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Hospital held Soft Skill Training for Learners of the Specialist Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Held for 5 days (26 to 30 August 2024), soft skills training plays an important role in developing the interpersonal and intrapersonal abilities of students to be ready to do learning in hospitals. This activity was opened on August 26, 2024 offline, which was attended by 177 PPDS-1 people from 21 study programs and 15 PPDS-2 people. All participants were then divided into 6 groups, where each group would later get a task to present.


In this training, on the first day the students will get material exposure from the speakers including:

  1. Prof. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes with the topic of the Philosophy of Medical Education at FK Unud

  2. Dr. dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes., with the topic of the Philosophy of Prof. IGNG Ngoerah Hospital

  3. Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A (K) with the topic of Doctor Professionalism

  4. Dr. dr. IGP Suka A., Sp.PD-KGer-FINASIM with the topic of Good Learner and Clinician

  5. Dr. dr. Ni Made Renny A.R., Sp.PD-KHOM-FINASIM with the topic of Good Presentation

  6. Prof. Dr. dr. Gede Raka W., Sp.PD-KGH with the topic Principle of Scientific Writing


On the second day, the material obtained by the students included:

  1. Socialization of Pertor and Juknis Bullying at Udayana University and at Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital delivered by Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D.

  2. Prevention of Bullying in the Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital Environment delivered by the Training Manager of Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, dr. Yohanes Yanson Purnawan, MARS

  3. Code of Conduct during the PPDS Education Period at Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital / FK Unud delivered by dr. Kunthi Yulianti, Sp.KF


After the presentation session, participants will conduct a role play with the theme of Implementation of Education and Philosophy of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital At the end of the role play there is a discussion session guided by Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A (K). The activity then continued with the announcement of the best groups and best participants. The third winner was group 1, the second winner was group 6 and the first winner was group 4. The best commentator went to group 5.
