Resolving Stunting in Indonesia, FK Unud Discusses Collaboration with BKKBN Bali Province


In order to strengthen university collaboration in the Bangga Kencana Program and Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Bali Province, the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University received the Bali Province National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) and the Bali Province Stunting Task Force which was located in the Prof. Meeting Room. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah, FK Unud Denpasar Building. (26/2/2024)


The team from the BKKBN was led by the Head of the Bali Province BKKBN Representative, Sarles Brabar, SE, M.Si., and was received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. In his speech, Prof. Januartha said that FK Unud welcomed the program implemented by BKKBN and was very supportive in dealing with the stunting problem in Indonesia, especially on the island of Bali.

"Overcoming stunting certainly has to involve many sectors and fields of science, apart from involving lecturers it also needs to involve students. We hope that in the future, with this hearing, FK Unud can collaborate to help the government eradicate stunting in Indonesia," said Prof. January.


This event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Dr. Dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya. Sp.OT (K)., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. Dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Information Management and Cooperation Unit, Dr. Dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked, MPH., Ph.D., and lecturers in the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
