Students from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, through the Semi-Autonomous Body for the AIDS Care Student Group (KMPA), organized an HIV/AIDS Socialization and Mobile Health Services (SISKAMLING) program which was attended by 46 Seka Truna Truni (STT) people from Batannyuh Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. This program is held with the hope of improving the welfare and quality of people's health so that they can be more productive in carrying out their daily activities.
The aim of this HIV/AIDS Socialization and Mobile Health Services (SISKAMLING) activity is to:
1. Providing experience to students of the Semi-Autonomous AIDS Care Student Group (KMPA) Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in implementing the knowledge gained through health services, counseling and outreach.
2. Provide information related to HIV/AIDS to the local community.
3. Improve students' communication skills and medical abilities through health services.
4. Develop and increase students' sense of awareness of health problems in society.
SISKAMLING 2024 begins with a pretest, socialization, posttest, health check services, visits to residents' homes to provide basic necessities and free blood pressure checks. SISKAMLING this time involved parties from Batannyuh Village, Marga 1 District Health Center and Seka Truna Truni, Batannyuh Village.
This activity was attended and opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., who in his speech conveyed an appeal to all participants representing Seka Truna Truni who were present to listen carefully to the material about HIV/AIDS, The importance of education is to educate the public about the dangers of HIV/AIDS for health and other sectors. The rise of HIV/AIDS sufferers who are not visible because they do not carry out examinations, how can the brothers and sisters of Batannnyuh village prevent the occurrence of HIV/AIDS, therefore in this SISKAMLING community service activity, socialization will be provided in the form of material related to HIV/AIDS.
"Therefore, brothers and sisters here must be healthy, if all of our nation has HIV/AIDS, it is impossible for our nation to progress, brothers and sisters here must be free from HIV/AIDS so that they can bring the Indonesian nation to a better future," appealed Prof. Januartha.
The participants, especially Seka Truna Truni, Batannyuh Village, really felt great benefits after taking part in the KMPA 2024 HIV/AIDS and Mobile Health Services (SISKAMLING) Socialization Activities.
